Biggest number of Summer puppies ever!

Summer 2011 has seen a boom in Puppies looking for training at Little Orchard. There are set to be 5 full Groups per week alongside all other levels of training. We are trying to stay on top of demand and spaces are very limited. If we are unable to offer a Course at a suitable time for you, please email us with your needs and if there is other interest we will look to add Training groups.

Please be patient if we are unable to answer phone calls and enquiries on the same day at present due to Training times.

IMPORTANT WEBSITE CHANGES

We are in the process of making some changes to the website. There will be new facilities such as search options and download content available soon.

We will also have RSS feeds for the News items and Graduation pages.

The main Little Orchard site will remain online during the changes so please be patient if strange things happen during the changes.

Thanks,

Stu

Good Luck for the weekend

Good luck to all the Little Orchard clients both past and present who are entered in agility competitions this weekend (we know there are quite a few). Keep us posted with any news and photos of the day so we can share them with everyone else.

Agility Groups jump into action

Tonight (5th April 2011) saw the new Aility Groups start at The Mendip Stud.

We have 10 new handlers and dogs in the Starters Group and 7 handlers and dogs in the advanced group.

Each Course runs for 10 weeks and each lesson is 50 minutes long.

This is an introduction to the Agility Equipment and the environment. You will be able to work on individual pieces of equipment in a safe manner. All the equipment is started on low level or mini pieces can be used. This is then built up with the individual dogs ability and confidence. Dogs must be at least 12 months old and have completed at least bronze level obedience training so that Owners do not have to use time training control, waits and heelwork instead of the agility.

Contact us here if you would like to go on the waiting list for the next Course start dates.

More placings in Devon

Once again Congratulations are in order for Sarah and Alex. On 19/06/2010 they travelled to Hennock for the G.S.D Devon Show.

Competing in Beginner, Sarah picked up another First and Alex picked up a Third. Ru and Sonny also had a good run out in the Novice Class.

For all those who are keeping track, this was the last show that Sarah and Alex could compete in at Beginner Level so fingers crossed and good luck as you move up.
